An empowering story for kids told with music and voices The CD is available free to caregivers and families of children facing life-threatening health conditions— and, of course, to the kids themselves. Those who purchase it are helping us make more free copies available: all sales proceeds go back into shipping and manufacturing costs. This CD is the first in a series of stories we will create for children who need special care. We feel the kind of support these allegorical stories offer is much needed, unique and powerful— it connects the child with their own inner resources at a time they need it most. As an adjunct to medical treatment, these stories help foster a psychological framework that supports the child's overall comfort and well-being. Our mission is to provide these CDs to children's hospice caregivers, palliative care centers for children, pediatric oncology departments, children's hospitals— anyplace where kids facing life-limiting illness are cared for. If you are interested in helping out: • We want to connect with the caregivers of these children wherever they are around the world; we need help making these connections. • We plan to produce foreign-language versions of the CD; we need production funds, translators and voice talent. • We are creating a CD version of our first giveaway cassette tape "Journey for Healing with Kuan Yin" featuring Jerry Garcia, and need production and manufacturing funds. • We are creating the second story in the series and are looking for production funds.
